A different type of a bucket list
This will be a different type of bucket list. It’s not “things I would like to do in my life”, but a list of things I need to do for different reasons. So it’s more a list to hold myself accountable. And procrastinating these things will be embarrassing. And there are few things that hurt me more than to be embarrassed.
But be warned: there will be some rather explicit things on this list. Typical trans stuff I guess …

OK, let’s start with the transition related things to get the elephant out of the room:
- Make an appointment with my therapist to talk about bottom surgery (and which type to get). There has to be made a decision between an orchiectomy and a full GCS (gender confirming surgery). A zero depth GCS is not an option.
- Do something about my voice dysphoria. For as long as I can think I hated my recorded voice. I had a bunch of training sessions with a great voice therapist, who is specialized in trans voice therapy, but i was not very diligent with my homework. ADHD …
- Start with electrolysis. Shaving sucks and is bad for the skin. Stubble sucks even more …
- Make an appointment to talk to a surgeon about hair transplant and some other soft tissue interventions.
Some not trans related things:
- Visit more people, travel a bit more in general.
- Attend more conferences. One conference per year is not enough.
- Related: when attending, try to give a talk. I’m addicted to talking at conferences.
- Lose some more weight. Not much, but there are things that bother me.
I think, that’s enough for some time. I might revisit and change this list. The items are not in a specific order by the way.
